The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said 11 people were arrested in a two-day undercover operation in the Twin Cities, and 18 victims were recovered.
According to the BCA, investigators arrested three people for sex trafficking and promotion of prostitution, and eight people were arrested for solicitation of a minor or solicitation of prostitution under 16 years of age.
Investigators also recovered 18 trafficking victims, who were then offered victim services, the BCA said.
The operation was conducted in partnership with authorities from the Anoka, Hennepin, Isanti and Kanabec County sheriff's offices, and with police officers from Blaine, Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Buffalo, Coon Rapids, Howard Lake, Minneapolis, Rochester, St. Paul and Upper Sioux.
