Fair-goers looking to wet their whistle will have plenty of brews and beverages from which to choose when the Minnesota State Fair gets underway next month.

The fair announced Tuesday that 27 new beverages will be premiering at this year's Great Minnesota Get Together. In addition, 13 beverages return, making for a total of 40 specialty brews and beverages in all.


The new selections are as follows:

Brewzo Lager - a licorice-infused pilsner inspired by Greek ouzo and brewed by Lake Monster Brewing of St. Paul.

Cake'd Up Celebration Beer - a deep-fried cake flavored beer brewed by the Mankato Brewery in North Mankato.

Caramel Corn Celebration Beer - a lot of corn in the brewing process provides a caramel flavor to this beer brewed by FINNEGANS Brew Co. in Minneapolis.

Frontier Summer IPA - a crisp and hoppy IPA brewed by Fulton Brewing in Minneapolis.

Funnel Cake Cream Ale - a lightly hopped cream ale brewed by Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee.

Gaelic Dark and Stormy - a deep golden ale with lime and spicy ginger brewed by Surly Brewing Co. in Minneapolis.

Helles Ya, You Betcha - a light lager with flavors of tangerine and fresh blood orange brewed by Summit Brewing Co. in St. Paul.

Horse Apple Ale - a beer brewed with pressed apple cider by the Excelsior Brewing Company in Excelsior.

It Takes 2 to Tango and 3 to Mango - a beer aged one year in 80-year-old cypress wood, then another three months on mangoes and brewed by Starkeller Brewing in New Ulm.

Juicy LuLuLucy - an IPA with a juicy orange and grapefruit-like hop flavor brewed by Surly.

Key Lime Pie - a golden ale with a squeeze of key lime brewed by Lift Bridge Brewing Company in Stillwater.

Kirby Pucker #34 - billed as being brewed with a combination of strawberries and rhubarb by Eastlake Craft Brewery in Minneapolis.

The Kloser IPA - a hop-heavy, citrus combined effort from Surly and former Twins pitcher Glen Perkins.

LimeLight - featuring lime and a hint of sea salt and brewed by The Freehouse in Minneapolis.

Margarita-Style Kettle Sour Ale - reminiscent of a margarita and brewed by 612Brew in Minneapolis.

Mobster Mule Bubble Trouble - a drink featuring Edelweiss wine, ginger beer and sweet lime from the Cannon River Winery in Cannon Falls.

Orange Cream Ale - an ale infused with bright citrus orange flavor and finished with a creamy texture from Castle Danger Brewery in Two Harbors.

Passion Fruit Pils - infused with passion fruit and brewed by Bent Paddle Brewing in Duluth.

Raspberry Champow - a white ale with red raspberries and champagne-varietal grapes brewed by Bent Brewstillery in Roseville.

The Shandlot Pink Lemon Shandy - pink and lemony brew infused with strawberries and hibiscus and brewed by Bauhaus Brew Labs in Minneapolis.

Slipstream Black Currant Apple - pressed apples fermented, then sweetened with floral and black currant berries and brewed by Sociable Cider Werks in Minneapolis.

Sociable Mimosa or Bellini - an orange juice puree mixed with Sociable Cider Werks Freewheeler brewed in Minneapolis.

Spumoni Tsunami - inspired by the Italian ice cream and brewed by Bad Weather Brewing Company in St. Paul.

St. Apple Malted Cider - a malted cider brewed with apple and pie spices by Lakes and Legends Brewing Company in Minneapolis.

St. Pat's Green Ale - a green, light-bodied ale brewed by FINNEGANS.

Strawberry Mint Fro-Le - featuring strawberry lemonade and a hint of fresh mint and made by The Blue Barn.

Uffda Ale - a Norwegian-inspired session beer from Beaver Island Brewing Co. in St. Cloud.
