2019 State Fair finishes with 6th daily attendance record, overall attendance record

With five attendance records already set during this year's Minnesota State Fair, the final day's attendance number is in: 184,740, which is also a record.

The total attendance from the state fair is 2,126,551, a record as well.

Fairgoers set six daily records during the 2019 state fair, in addition to the overall attendance record.

The first record was set opening day—Thursday, Aug. 22—with 133,326. The second record was set the following day, Friday, with 157,224 visitors. The third record was set Tuesday with 136,987. The fourth record was set Friday with 209,789 visitors and the fifth was set Sunday with 245,243 visitors. And, of course, Monday's attendance came in at a record 184,740.

Last year set an attendance record with 2,046,533 total visitors.
