The third Monday in January will always be known as Martin Luther King Jr. day.
To many, it means so much more than a holiday. In the Twin Cities Monday morning, there were two gatherings at the Armory in Minneapolis and another at the Ordway Theater in St. Paul to celebrate the life of Dr. King.
The small town of Virginia, Minnesota had a celebration of their own for the first time.
