Jay Mitchell and his dog have been reunited.
Jay recently lost his wife and his home, so he has been living in his truck with his dog, Hero.
Jay couldn't find anyone to take Hero during last week's cold snap, so the two stayed in the truck and Jay ended up getting frostbite. He may even lose some toes.
Hero is staying with another family until Jay is out of the hospital.
