Minnesota Moment: Enormous snowman in Buffalo

March 08, 2019 11:41 AM

In the front yard of a home in Buffalo stands a giant snowman.

He has a traffic cone for a nose and a garbage can hat. It took Eric Fobbe two days to build it.

However, some particular tools were needed to complete the project at hand.

"Basically used the skid steer to get the snow on the ground then used the snowblower to get the pile as high as I could go and once I got to 20 feet, I stood in the bucket of the skid steer and carved it from the top down," he said.

Next year, Eric says he wants the snowman to be even bigger, around 30 feet.
