A boy known for his generous pastry donations to police has helped out the Anoka Police Department in a big way.
Eleven-year-old Tyler Carach, known as the "Donut Boy," visited the Twin Cities with a gift for the department's K9.
Carach raised nearly $1,000 to purchase a protective vest.
In recent years he has brought police and the public together by bringing them donuts.
