In just a matter of hours, Darrell Lindemann, who coaches boys hockey at Holy Family, went from a hospital bed to the hockey rink.
Last fall, Lindemann was forced to take some time away from the bench after dealing with a mystery illness that caused him to faint for several months.
Then, earlier this month, a heart monitor picked up a problem with his heart.
But, Lindemann wouldn't stay away from hockey for too long. It typically takes weeks or months to recover after getting a pacemaker, but Lindemann was back at the rink hours later, cheering on his team.
