Minnesota Autism Conference offers chance to exchange ideas, enhance lives

April 21, 2019 01:40 PM

A conference this week in Minneapolis offers the chance for educators, professionals and those with autism to exchange ideas and enhance the lives of those on the autism spectrum.

The Minnesota Autism Conference runs from Wednesday through Saturday at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest in Minnetonka.

The event allows families to connect with teachers, therapists and many others, while also featuring a variety of exhibits and speakers. Some of the topics covered include using music in classrooms and how schools can be more inclusive.

24th annual Autism Conference begins Wednesday

The conference will focus not only on early intervention, but also the support those on the autism spectrum need as they get older and become adults.

Some events are already sold out, and volunteers are being accepted. If you'd like more information on the conference, click here.
