Some of Minnesota's airports, both big and small, are receiving funding from the federal government to make improvements.

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is receiving more than $22 million.

The Lake Elmo airport is set to receive $11 million for a runway reconstruction project.

Because traffic is slow due to the COVID-19 pandemic, officials say now is a good time for infrastructure projects.
