A Minneapolis traffic control agent was injured Wednesday night after a hit and run collision, according to a news release from the city.

The release said the incident occurred just after 10:15 p.m. on Hennepin Avenue just north of Lagoon Avenue. The traffic control agent was enforcing metered parking at the time of the collision, according to the city.
