A Minneapolis traffic control agent was injured Wednesday night after a hit and run collision, according to a news release from the city.
The release said the incident occurred just after 10:15 p.m. on Hennepin Avenue just north of Lagoon Avenue. The traffic control agent was enforcing metered parking at the time of the collision, according to the city.
The agent was identified by the city as 48-year-old Noutong Lee.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
Lee was taken to Hennepin Healthcare, according to the release.
