What started as a traveling concert is now a traveling festival to help benefit local artists and organizations.

The Minneapolis Revitalization kicked off Tuesday following a musical tour that occurred last week.

The online festival is meant to raise money for local artists, children whose families have experienced police violence and organizations that are committed to rebuilding Minneapolis after recent civil unrest.

An art auction is taking place through Thursday. It features a number of artists from around the world.

The festival also includes online musical performances, as well as speakers and workshops that explore the topics of equality, injustice and unity.
