Police have arrested a man in connection to a homicide in the Phillips neighborhood last week.

Minneapolis Police said Wednesday that Larry Joe Foster, 66, was arrested with the help of St. Paul police.

On Sept. 2, police and fire crews responded to a house fire on the 2600 block of 13th Avenue at about 12:08 a.m.

Police investigate suspicious death in Phillips neighborhood

While extinguishing the fire, authorities located a dead man who had injuries not associated with the fire.

Police said they launched a death investigation into the matter, but no other details were released.

Foster was arrested in St. Paul and booked into the Hennepin County Jail on probable cause of murder.
