Changes to early morning green line trips started Monday morning.

According to Metro Transit, four green line light rail trips between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. have been replaced by green line buses.

These changes only occur Sunday through Thursday mornings. Green line trains will continue to operate 24-hour service on Friday and Saturday nights.

Buses will stop near each green line station and will operate as frequently as trains do.

Metro Transit says that this change will allow for more timely maintenance along the green line.
