The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office has identified pedestrians killed in two separate incidents Monday.

A release said 83-year-old Darlene Norma Ulrich of Faribault died of blunt force head injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of District One Hospital on the 100 block of State Street in Faribault Monday afternoon.

Witnesses told police that a vehicle was backing out of a parking stall when it struck Ulrich and continued backing up until it struck another vehicle. None of the occupants in the two vehicles were injured. The matter remains under investigation.

Meanwhile, the medical examiner's office said 70-year-old Deddeh Woiwor of Brooklyn Park was the woman killed when she was struck by a vehicle on the 7500 block of Brooklyn Boulevard in Brooklyn Park later that afternoon. She died of multiple blunt force injuries.

Authorities said the driver of the vehicle that struck her is cooperating with investigators.
