A man has died from a single snowmobile crash that occurred Saturday night in Dunn County.
According to Dunn County Sheriff Kevin Bygd, the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. near the 8500 block of 870th Street in Colfax Township.
Police say a 28-year-old Boyceville man was unconscious when they arrived at the scene. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
After a preliminary crash investigation done by Dunn County Sheriff's deputies, it was determined the snowmobile operator was southbound on a designated snowmobile trail. The investigation suggests the operator lost control of the snowmobile, left the trail and he was ejected.
