The man who was killed following a shooting in Richfield on May 17 has been identified as 19-year-old Jordan D'Angelo Washington.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the identity Friday.

The medical examiner said he died of a gunshot wound to the head. 

Police were called to the 1300 block of 78th Street just before 6:45 p.m. Thursday.

When authorities arrived, they located Washington, who had suffered a gunshot wound. Washington was pronounced dead at Hennepin County Medical Center.
