Man dies after shooting in south Minneapolis

A man has died after a shooting in south Minneapolis Wednesday night.

According to the Minneapolis police, officers responded to the 3500 block of 19th Avenue S. on the report of gunshots.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located who they believe to be a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

First aid was rendered, however, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, after an initial investigation, the victim and shooter are thought to have known each other.

No suspects have been arrested in this homicide.
