A man is in critical condition following a stabbing in Minneapolis' Marcy-Holmes neighborhood Sunday night.

Police said the incident happened at Southeast Fifth Street and Second Avenue South.


Police said the victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he underwent surgery.

Authorities have not yet uncovered what led up to the stabbing. Police also said no one is currently in custody in connection with the incident.

The incident remains under investigation.
