A short time later, police located the suspect on County Road 9 near Willmar High School. A deputy attempted to stop him, but he once again fled police, according to the sheriff's office.

Going more than 100 mph at times, the suspect led police into New London via Highway 23. He tried to turn west onto Highway 9, but a deputy stopped him. The suspect drove onto the frontage road and into the parking lot of a nearby store, where he was taken into custody.
