KSTP-TV launched a new, locally-produced program called "Minnesota Live" on Tuesday, September 7th.  "Minnesota Live" airs weekdays from 9:00-10:00 a.m.  Anchored by 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS anchors Megan Newquist and Chris Egert, "Minnesota Live" is an hour-long, weekday lifestyle show highlighting what makes Minnesota an incredible place to live.

Through partnerships with Hubbard Broadcasting-owned television stations, WDIO-TV in Duluth and KAAL-TV in Rochester, viewers will learn more about unique Minnesota hidden gems, spots to visit and events happening around the state. The show is positively Minnesota and we are excited for you to watch.

"We have a long-history of local programming at KSTP and now feels like the right time to add to that," Mandy Tadych, director of programming and promotions, said in a statement. "'Minnesota Live' will offer viewers something positive, informative and local, weekdays at 9 a.m. I’m confident the show will grow to be a staple in our community."

Mike Marcotte serves as the show’s Executive Producer. “’Minnesota Live’ is filling a space that is currently left untouched in the Twin Cities. We’re taking topics affecting all Minnesotans, and we discuss why it impacts your life. At the same time, we’re sharing the stories of Minnesota individuals, groups and businesses doing amazing things. Our goal is to educate and unite.”

If you have story ideas, guest suggestions, or places to recommend, please email them to minnesotalive@kstp.com.

Each day on "Minnesota Live" the show is closed with a "Minnesota Moment".  This is a 20-30 second video features the sights and sounds of Minnesota.  You can submit a video (please shoot it horizontally on your phone) to the producers for on air consideration by sending the video to minnesotalive@kstp.com.
