The Minneapolis Police Department says it is arresting protesters who were out after curfew Sunday night near Interstate 35W and Washington Avenue.
The group had been marching on I-35W until law enforcement encroached on them from either direction, forcing them up onto surface streets. Officers then encircled the group at a gas station on Washington Avenue.
According to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, law enforcement officers were arresting about 150 people. A firearm was found at the scene, Minneapolis Police said.
