Lime electric scooters returned to the streets of Minneapolis Monday.

"We're excited that our return to Minneapolis adds to our fleet in the Twin Cities," the company said in a press release. 


The company launched its scooter fleet in St. Paul in April, according to the release.

Along with its launch in Minneapolis, the company announced its partnership with Twin Cities R!SE, a local nonprofit. According to Lime, riders will have an opportunity to add a "small additional percentage" to the cost of their ride to "give back to their community and support local nonprofit organizations." 

Lime also said along with its partnership with Twin Cities R!SE, it will help make sure their service is available to the individuals Twin Cities R!SE serves, according to the release.
