KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said Minnesotans can expect some fresh flakes to fall Sunday morning, however, he does not expect much to accumulate in the Twin Cities. 

According to Yuhas, the snow is expected to reach the metro area by 8 a.m. He said it is then expected to taper off by the evening.

The south metro is expected to see a majority of the snow, according to Yuhas. He added that 1 to 2 inches of snow is likely. 

Temperature highs will reach the mid-20s during the day Sunday, according to Yuhas. 

Yuhas said the weather is expected to calm down moving into the week, with temperatures in the teens.
