There is a heavy police presence in Eden Prairie, but police say there is no danger to the public.

The department said on social media officers were responding to a "domestic situation" Saturday on South Shore Lane.

Police asked the public to stay clear of the area.

Several hours later, the department said SWAT cleared the call and residents were free to return home and come and go as they please.

More information is expected to be released at a later time.
