An investigator met with the former student who confirmed he attended school in Brooklyn Park between 2000 and 2001. The victim also told the investigator that Schuster was his English as a second language teacher.

The complaint said the victim told the investigator that Schuster was "touchy" and "flirty" with him. He told the investigator that one day Schuster closed the door and kissed him after a teacher's aide left the classroom.

The complaint said the two began kissing routinely and began having sexual intercourse.

The victim also told police that Schuster signed him up for "summer school," which entailed sexual encounters at various locations, including the classroom and her home, according to the complaint. During the interview with the investigator, the former student was able to recall the layout of her home and bedroom.

According to the complaint, Schuster's ex-husband was interviewed by police. He confirmed the details about the home the victim had described.

In an interview with investigators, Schuster said the student hit on her, but she denied a sexual relationship when he was in school, according to the complaint. She also said the victim reached out to her 5 to 8 years ago, and they had an intimate relationship then.

Osseo Area Schools confirmed that Schuster taught at North View Junior High from 2000 to 2004. She taught at other schools in the district as well up until 2014.
