Jayme Closs has finally been reunited with family.

Her aunt Jennifer Naiberg Smith confirmed that to KSTP's Eric Chaloux Friday, though the family continues to ask for privacy.

"We sure will," Chaloux reported the aunt responded when he told her to enjoy her night with Jayme.

A photo of Jayme and her aunt was posted on Facebook Friday afternoon.

Closs was discovered safely Thursday afternoon in Gordon, Wisconsin, about 60 miles north of the residence in Barron County at which her parents James and Denise were found dead on Oct. 15 of last year. Jayme had not been seen since.

A suspect, 21-year-old Jake Thomas Patterson, was arrested by authorities soon after Jayme had contacted a woman walking her dog in Gordon, who took her to a neighbor's home where they called 911.

She was taken to a hospital in Duluth and held for observation overnight.

"She is good," Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said at a press conference Friday morning.

"She's been cleared from the hospital. There is a reunification process in place that is going on right now. It includes medical, mental evaluation, questioning by detectives ... Then finally reunification with her family."

Fitzgerald said Jayme's aunt had or was in the process of picking her up and heading back to the Barron area Friday afternoon.

He said his deputies had finished speaking with her.

Meanwhile, a number of family members of James Closs had gathered in Ladysmith Friday.

Mike Closs, Jame's brother, said they had not talked to Jayme yet, but were working with the Naiberg's to see here when the time is right.

He said they were unfamiliar with Patterson, the suspect in the case.
