This summer, the attorney for the family of Jacob Wetterling told KSTP they have decided not to appeal the decision to make the Wetterling case public.

The material was scheduled to be made public in 2017 after a conviction in the decades-old case. The release was delayed when the Wetterling family filed a lawsuit requesting the information concerning their family is kept private.
