The Irwin Jacobs estate sale that was scheduled to take place Saturday at the Jacobs residence on Lake Minnetonka has been canceled due to a restraining order dealing with a family dispute over the estate.

Irwin Jacobs and Alexandra Jacobs son and daughter, Mark Jacobs and Trisha Blake, scheduled the estate sale to take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning according to a court filing.

Randi Jacobs, another daughter of the family, filed a restraining order to stop the sale as she claims there are one-of-a-kind artifacts that are part of the sale.

The order was granted and the sale has been halted.

The sale was taking place after the death of the Jacobs in April, Irwin killed his wife Alexandra then committed suicide.

Death of Irwin Jacobs ruled a suicide, wife's death ruled a homicide
