Saturday night fire damages Irondale High School

A fire at Irondale High School in New Brighton left the school with minimal damage Saturday night, according to the New Brighton Department of Public Safety.

At around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to the scene where they determined there was a fire in the basement of the school. When they arrived, the fire was being controlled by a single sprinkler head, according to NBDPS.
