An Inver Grove Heights woman who pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution at a business she owned was sentenced to prison Thursday.

The attorney's office said authorities began an investigation into Herb Spa in March after receiving reports that prostitution was occurring there. During the investigation, multiple men admitted to receiving sexual services from women at the massage parlor. Further investigation revealed Wang made multiple runs to and from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and paid airfare for women to fly to the Twin Cities.

Officers found two women who were living in the back of the business, according to the attorney's office. One of the women indicated she paid Wang rent and Wang kept half her profits from the services she provided. Authorities found $13,000 in bundles of cash in the business, and also found over $42,000 in a safety deposit box.
