INTERVIEW: MSP Airport officials prepare for busy MEA weekend

Updated: October 17, 2019 06:59 AM

Thursday kicks off the start of the MEA conference in Minnesota for educators.

The term originated from the Minnesota Education Association and was designed to be a week devoted to giving educators the opportunity to pursue professional development.

The conference means students have a long weekend ahead and, for many families, it means one last chance to get away before winter hits.

KSTP's Ashley Zilka spoke with John Welbes, airport spokesman, to talk about preparations for the busy weekend.
