How the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center Assists Families Like Jeremy Jourdain’s

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS and the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center are partnering to raise awareness about missing Minnesotans.

JWRC is working with the family of Jeremy Jourdain. The 17-year-old lived in Cass Lake but was last seen on Halloween night in 2016 leaving a family party in Bemidji.

Jourdain was wearing a blue and gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray shoes. With the leaves off the trees and hunters out in the woods, police are asking the public to be on the lookout for anything that might provide a clue about what happened to Jeremy.

The Jacob Wetterling Resource Center does many things to assist families when a loved one is missing.  Victim Assistance Specialist Jane Straub talked with 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS’ Kevin Doran about how JWRC is helping Jourdain’s family and why it’s important to call police as soon as you suspect something is wrong.
