Updated: September 10, 2019 07:06 PM

House of Charity broke ground on a new building they hope can help people experiencing homelessness.

The Park7 Building is located on South Seventh Street in Minneapolis. The building will offer 61 affordable studio apartments.

The project that costs more than $11 million is being built with both public and private financing.

Tenants will have 24-hour access to services, including case managers who can help them with referrals for financial management, employment, healthcare and long-term housing.
