The Minneapolis Fire Department said crews responded to a fire in a two-story home on the 3700 block of 18th Avenue South early Friday morning.

A Twitter post from the department said the fire was extinguished in around two hours, and no injuries were reported.

One resident was assessed for smoke inhalation and was released.

The property, however, was a total loss.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
