Early morning homicide in south Minneapolis

Officers from the Minneapolis Police Department responded to a Shot Spotter activation in the area of East 37th Street and Clinton Avenue South just before 5:30 a.m.

According to a release from the Minneapolis Police Department, officers searched the area and located an adult male victim on the sidewalk. Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived, however the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
