One man was rescued after he and another man were thrown from a boat on Hay Lake Tuesday afternoon, but authorities are still searching for his passenger.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office received a report about the incident at 1:30 p.m. When responders arrived at the scene, they pulled the driver from the lake and treated him for minor injuries.

The search for the missing passenger continues Tuesday night, with the aid of North Memorial, the Lakes Area Dive Team and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

The men have not been identified.
