Hail damages cars at Burnsville hotel

This morning's quick-moving storm brought hail and left damage.

Lines of cars in the parking lot of Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn had dents on them.

That wasn't the only damage. Jennifer Golden had her entire back window shattered.

"It sounded like people were throwing heavy items upstairs. That's what it sounded like. We thought people were just throwing around things upstairs, and then we looked out the window because my husband thought it was thunder, and saw hail bouncing around," said Golden.

Drivers said ping pong ball sized hail was to blame for the mess. A lot of them said they never saw anything like this before.

"California we have hail about this big. It's a nice car. It has dents all over it," said Lawrence Parfitt.

"That's my luck. There was no surprise. That's just my luck," said Golden.
