The city of Minneapolis reports four garage burglaries have been reported by residents in the Northrop neighborhood since Feb. 10 - all on the 4700 blocks of Bloomington Avenue South and 16th Avenue South.

Two of the incidents involved the service door being kicked in. Two involved entry through an unlocked door.

No suspect information has been reported so far.

Residents are encouraged to call 911 if they see anything suspicious occurring, to take pictures or video of belongings in their garage and home, keep their garage door locked at all times, and to lock windows and doors even while at home.
