Former Viking, wife identified as victims in Todd County homicide

A former Minnesota Viking and his wife were identified as the two victims in a homicide that occurred in Todd County, according to authorities. 

A press release from the Todd County Sheriff's Office identified the victims as Barry Martin Bennett and Carol Ann Bennett.

Barry Bennett was a defensive lineman in the NFL, and played for the Minnesota Vikings in 1988. He also played for New Orleans and the New York Jets.

The Vikings issued a statement Friday morning. 

The Todd County Sheriff's Office has identified Dylan John Bennett as a suspect. 

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Todd County Sheriff's Office at 320-732-2157.
