First Avenue announced it plans to donate its profits made Thursday to Planned Parenthood North Central States.

The move comes as President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak across the street from the rock club Thursday night.

"While we are not a political organization, First Avenue has hosted candidates and events across the political spectrum and supports diversity of thought," the company said in a statement. "However, the actions and policies of this administration are in direct conflict to our core values. First Avenue believes in radical inclusivity; every person needs to be treated with dignity, respect and professionalism."

On Thursday, California psychedelic rock/garage rock band Oh Sees are expected to take the stage in the main room. Ballyhoo! will be performing at the club's 7th Street Entry.
