Firefighters were at the scene of a massive fire that broke out in southern Minnesota Thursday night.
The fire happened just after 8 p.m. at a large warehouse on the 600 block of West Main Street in Albert Lea.
According to the Albert Lea Police Department's Facebook page, an officer discovered the fire and notified the fire department.
Additionally, 13 nearby homes and apartments were temporarily evacuated.
The majority of the fire has been extinguished and crews are monitoring hotspots.
No injuries have been reported, as of Friday morning.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal is expected to visit the site Friday.
Hubbard Broadcasting's KAAL-TV reports a public safety alert was issued and that Freeborn County Emergency Management said any residents affected by the fire can go to the United Methodist Church for assistance.
