Firefighters responded to a fire that occurred in the computer room of a high school in New Hope Wednesday.

New Hope Police Department Captain Scott Slawson said the fire occurred at Cooper High School.

Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire, and the cause is under investigation.

Students were dismissed for the day.
