The Minneapolis Fire Department said crews responded to a fire in a one-story commercial building on the 500 block of 29th Avenue SE early Monday morning.

A release said the building was vacant, but crews received reports of possible squatters there. Firefighters had to open the building for ventilation to aid in putting the fire out.
