The Beltrami County Sheriff's Department reports an elderly male died after he was trapped in the chute of a farm truck used for hauling small grain Tuesday morning.

A release stated deputies responded to the scene on the 43000 block of Moose River Road in Northwood Township, located about 100 miles northwest of Bemidji.

The man - identified as 80-year-old Ralph S. Lee of Grygla - was reported to have been readying or cleaning the box of the farm truck when he came trapped in the chute of the truck used to haul grain from the field.

The release said an autopsy by the Beltrami County Coroner's Office ruled the death accidental.
