Update: Both parties have been located according to Fargo Police. The investigation is still ongoing.  


Fargo Police are asking for the publics assistance in locating 33-year-old Kristin Dawn Hettervig who police say was possibly kidnapped. 

According to a Facebook post from the Fargo Police Department, Police were notified of a potential kidnapping at 12:43 p.m. Saturday afternoon. 

33-year-old Kristin Dawn Hettervig who is 5'2", approximately 130 pounds with blonde hair, notified her brother that she was kidnaped by her ex-boyfriend, Matthew Thomas Roy Hanson, age 41. 

They are said to potentially be traveling in a white GMC pick up truck with ND 535-AZX plates. 

Their last known location was Barnes County, North Dakota. 

If anyone has information on their whereabouts they are asked to call 911.
