Family members of a missing 29-year-old man reportedly flew to Denver from Minnesota this weekend to help in the search.

At least five of Adam Gilbertson's family members based in southern Dakota County were in Denver Monday.

"We wish someone would show up and say, 'Ahh... here he is,'" said Doug Gilbertson, the missing man's father who arrived in Denver to search for his son. "Let's hope he shows up, so we don't have to deal with the next phase."

According to ABC affiliate KMGH-TV, Gilbertson, described as 5 feet 11 inches with brown hair and blue eyes, was seen at Charlie's Nightclub in Denver on Thursday.

Surveillance video reportedly shows Gilbertson leaving the nightclub at about 11:32 p.m. and getting into a Lyft vehicle about eight minutes later.

According to KMGH, the Lyft driver told Gilbertson's family he took Gilbertson to his car, which was parked in a neighborhood lot. The driver also said Gilbertson said he was not having a good night and had been harassed at the nightclub.

On a website his family set up to help in the search, Gilbertson was reportedly last seen about 12:50 a.m. Friday, leaving Syntax Physic Opera in Denver, wearing a black jacket and hat.

Although Gilberston's car and keys were at his house, his family told KMGH he didn't show up for work on Friday and missed a yoga class on Saturday.

Gilbertson, who is a Minnesota native, moved to Denver in August for a nursing job, according to KMGH.

"We have to be (in Denver), we know we have to be there," said Gilbertson's sister Amy Linnel. "We feel hopeful."

Added cousin Shannon Saesan, who told the ABC affiliate: "This is not normal for him to be absent from life, work, family. I am beside myself. Like, we're all terrified."

A police spokesperson said investigators are actively working the open missing person case.

Anyone with any information that could help in locating Gilbertson is asked to call the Denver police at 720-913-2000 and reference case 17-837-972.
