The families of two western Wisconsin High School students who were killed in a vehicle crash in Polk County have planned memorials for the two.

The Clayton School District announced a memorial gathering will be held for MJ Magnuson and Grace Schradle at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Clayton High School. The school said the memorial gathering will be held in the Elementary Commons and Varsity Gym, and all are invited to attend.

The crash happened at about 2 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 63 and 60th Avenue in Clear Lake.

Witnesses told Polk County deputies a car traveling east on 60th Avenue didn't come to a complete stop when entering Highway 63 and collided with a semi that was pulling a trailer. The sheriff's office said witnesses told authorities the semi was halfway through the intersection when the car ran into the side of the trailer.

Both teenagers were juniors at Clayton High School.
