Facebook, Inc., continued to experience outage issues Thursday.
Representatives of the social media website said they are working to fix the outage issues.
According to the DownDetector website, which monitors websites and their outages, the outages started around 12 p.m. EDT on Wednesday.

Many people reported having trouble accessing the Facebook app, and its related apps, and posting. Some also reported issues with Instagram, which is also owned by Facebook.
The number of reports on DownDetector peaked at just over 12,200 Wednesday before falling to several hundred reports by early Thursday.
