EXTENDED INTERVIEW: Dave Dahl discusses procedure to remove skin cancer from forehead

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl won't appear during the evening newscasts for an extended period of time.

Dahl is undergoing a procedure to have a small area of skin cancer removed from his forehead.

Dahl has insisted people shouldn't worry, as he will be just fine.

"People don't realize it's very easy," he said. "It's one of the most curable cancers there is. So just get it taken care of."

In an extended interview, KSTP's Leah McLean sat down with Dahl to discuss the procedure as well as the importance of protecting skin from the sun's rays.
